Protection of Personal Data and Privacy Policy

1. Personal Data Protection Information Notice

As Senior Travel Turkey, we place great importance on the security of your personal data. In this context, we would like to inform you about the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, which has been enacted to protect fundamental rights and freedoms—particularly the right to privacy—and to ensure the protection of personal data.

In accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and relevant legislation, Senior Travel Turkey, acting in the capacity of Data Controller, processes your personal data within the scope described below and in compliance with applicable laws.

1.1 Collection, Processing, and Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data may vary depending on the services, products, or commercial activities provided by Senior Travel Turkey. Such data is collected through automatic or non-automatic methods, verbally, in writing, or electronically, via offices, branches, agents, call centers, websites, social media platforms, mobile applications, and similar channels.

As long as you benefit from the services of Senior Travel Turkey and its brands, your general and special categories of personal data may be created, updated, and processed, including but not limited to the purposes listed below:

  • Identity data, contact information, passport and visa-related personal data, visual and audio records
  • Financial data required within the scope of travel-related services received from Senior Travel Turkey
  • Travel information and other personal and special category personal data obtained during the provision of travel services
  • Data collected when you use our call center or website for online services
  • Data collected when you participate in trainings, seminars, or events organized by Senior Travel Turkey, or when you visit or browse our websites

Your personal and special category personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Planning, managing, and completing travel arrangements, reservations, and rentals
  • Processing visa applications to be submitted to consulates
  • Arranging insurance procedures related to travel services
  • Issuing invoices for provided services
  • Verifying identity
  • Sharing information requested by public institutions and authorities in accordance with applicable legislation
  • Fulfilling legal and regulatory obligations
  • Managing, improving, and conducting internal operations and research
  • Carrying out recruitment processes and employment-related activities
  • Performing service-related activities with contracted institutions
  • Managing customer satisfaction and complaints
  • Communicating with customers regarding travel advantages and services received
  • Organizing internal trainings, events, announcements, and card applications
  • Conducting reporting and auditing activities

Additionally, personal data may be processed for purposes such as improving products and services, conducting analyses, customer relationship management, reporting, using data for future requests and organizations, carrying out campaigns, promotions, and announcements, and conducting marketing activities tailored to usage purposes and needs—limited to and including the execution, development, and fulfillment of travel services and customer requests.

Your personal data may also be processed in accordance with Passport Law No. 5682, Identity Notification Law No. 5115, Package Tour Contracts Regulation, Regulation on the Implementation of the Identity Notification Law, Law No. 1618, and other relevant legislation, and may be transferred to Senior Travel Turkey’s physical archives and information systems, where it will be securely stored in both digital and physical environments.

2. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred, within the framework of applicable laws and for the purposes stated above, to the following parties:

  • TÜRSAB
  • Relevant ministries, regulatory and supervisory public institutions and organizations
  • Official authorities and regulatory and supervisory bodies
  • General Directorate of Security and other law enforcement authorities
  • Courts
  • Third parties providing consultancy services, including lawyers, consultants, and auditors
  • Authorized representatives and agents
  • Insurance companies
  • Airlines, hotels, and rental companies
  • Contracted service providers and business partners involved in the provision of services offered by Senior Travel Turkey

Additionally, for the purposes of improving and carrying out travel services, conducting analyses and reporting, and managing campaigns, promotions, and announcements, personal data may be shared domestically and internationally with business partners and third parties with whom Senior Travel Turkey cooperates.

3. Method and Legal Basis for the Collection of Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through verbal, written, or electronic means in order to provide the services specified above within the legal framework and to enable Senior Travel Turkey to fully and properly fulfill its contractual and legal obligations.

4. Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data

Pursuant to applicable legislation, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed
  • Request information if your personal data has been processed
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in accordance with that purpose
  • Learn the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion or destruction of personal data
  • Request notification of correction and/or deletion to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred
  • Object to results arising against you through analysis of data processed solely by automated systems
  • Request compensation for damages incurred due to unlawful processing of personal data

5. Data Security

Senior Travel Turkey takes all necessary technical and administrative measures to prevent unlawful processing and unauthorized access to your personal and special category personal data, and to ensure an adequate level of data security. All available technological resources are utilized to maintain this security level.

Within the scope of the law, you may submit all requests, questions, suggestions, and complaints regarding your personal data by completing the form on the Contact page, applying in person to the specified address, or sending an email to the designated electronic mail address.

6. Signature Stage

As the customer is a foreign national, this agreement shall be translated into the customer’s native language. Two copies of the agreement—one in Turkish and one in the customer’s language—shall be signed with wet signatures by both parties.
